Hobbies and Small Business

There are many different parts that make up a person, and I think that hobbies and interests are a huge part of who I am. I was fortunate enough to participate in numerous activities, sports, and groups as I grew up, which all helped in shaping me into the adult I am today.
I hope to share at least some of my interests with my future children, but I look forward to seeing their hobbies develop and supporting them however I can! I can't wait to see what clubs they want to join, if they enjoy sports or musicals (or both!), if they like to cook or play games, and just overall see how they develop!

Writing
I have enjoyed writing stories my whole life and the passion has only grown over the years. I have already published a couple of children's books and plan to publish many more in the future. My passion is for writing children's literature, both picture books and Young Adult novels. It has always been a joy for me to bring my children's books into my littlest sisters' classroom to read to them and their friends; I hope to do the same for my own children in the future.
I've also been able to put my love of writing and reading to good use through my editing business, Enhanced Edits.

Halloween - 2017
Crafting
Crafting has always been a passion of mine. I've tried my hand at just about every crafty thing imaginable... I even created my little sisters' Halloween costumes when they wanted to dress up as Cruella de Vil and Jewel, the Dalmatian puppy!
A few years ago, I turned my passion into a small business. The Write Creations has grown into something that allows me to enjoy crafting while also making enough money to pay for this hobby!
In the future, I hope to be able to share my love of crafting with my own children and create special projects for them. Maybe I'll even be able to teach them some of my favorite crafting activities!

Baking
I've been lucky enough to spend time bonding over baking with all of my siblings at one time or another. They may not all share my passion for it as they've grown up, but we've had our fair share of laughs as each of the kids have learned to measure the ingredients and whisk a mixture.
I hope to one day bake for my own children and bond with them over it as well. Even if they don't love the baking part, I know that we'll love eating freshly baked cookies together.

Singing
My whole life has been filled with music. Whether singing in the shower or jamming to tunes on my way to work, music is part of my daily life. Performing was always part of my life growing up. I did shy away from performing as I became an adult, something that I've been trying to pull myself out of recently. My mom and aunt were actually paid singers when they were younger and they always inspired me. I don't think I'll ever be professional, but I'd love to get on a stage again someday. I would love if my future children enjoyed singing as well, whether or not they'd want to be in public doing so. |

Disney
My family loves everything Disney, from watching movies together to spending a day at the Parks. My brother has already started sharing our family's love of Disney with my nephew too... since he was just a few months old, he has been fixated on the television whenever a Disney movie is playing!
I can't wait until I can pass down my family's love of Disney to my own children. I'm excited to introduce my own daughters to my favorite Disney movies and characters someday, and to see which characters they'll love the most. My friends are even excited to share in the Disney fun; they've already talked about visiting the Disney Parks with me and my future children!
